THE MAIN JOB PURPOSE

The main job purpose is to work in partnership with other functions (mainly Marketing, CD, Sales , and Digital teams) to ensure a relevant and meaningful communication of our technologies to different audiences internally (i.e. Sales teams) and externally (i.e. Customers, Consumers, Digital Influencers Beauty Advisors, KOFs, etc…). Also, identify each opportunity of leveraging BPC technologies in the different Digital platforms such as FB, IG, YT, etc…working close to the BPC Digital Hub teams. Contribute as key team member to the Trade Story creation.

It´s essential that the person is able to build a strong network within the Local Business teams to land the most relevant messages/assets related to our products (Claims, Demos, Trainings, KBS, etc…), empowering sales teams with strong and winner arguments and contribute to build close relationship between UL and our clients and consumers.

This individual must exhibit the flexibility to quickly adapt to changes in the market, thinking outside the box to find new ways to do things to maximize the impact of R&D technologies in the market, thus leveraging our innovations and business growth.

JOB SUMMARY

  • Technical activation of innovations and non-innovation projects in the local market;
  • To build/create/develop/implement all sorts of activation ideas and assets in order to maximize our technologies (ex: Demos, Call to action claims, etc…);
  • To shape and to put in practice the “Technical activation plan” according to the brands communication plan and business priorities;
  • Development & execution of customer and consumer oriented technical communication and support marketing in PR activities, including contact with media, digital influencers and PR agencies;
  • Propose, create and implement new ways of working between R&D and “new areas” of UL BR such as “Fabrica de Execução”, e-UB, etc…;
  • Continuously improve the relationship between R&D and Digital Influencers that works for UL brands, to ensure that they receive proper information on product and benefits;
  • Participate in “Lives” , Virtual and Presential events as R&D expert of our brands;
  • Focus on Hair masstige brands such as Nexxus, LBP, Bed Head and also Skin Care category;
  • Create/Edit technical vídeos to the sales team, both for new UL employee regarding basics in technology and also videos to communicate innovations benefit;
  • Ensure that all product technical relevant messages in advertising and activation materials are properly supported and were approved in cooperation with the relevant partners (eg: legal, and regulatory);
  • Pick up and share trends, early insights, specific developments/activities re KOFs, retailers (including digital channel), PR environment, competitors etc. and share with local business partners (marketing, customer development, communication, legal, external affairs) and R&D (regional, global) as appropriate;
  • Training of all relevant business partners (eg: care line, Trade, Sales, Marketing) on technical aspects of the product portfolio/category and/or new product launches;
  • Support and provide technical input during competitor and authority challenges, PR issues and consumer enquiries;
  • To build strong partnership with internal interfaces (MKT, CD, Sales, Care Line, Legal, Ext Comms and Digital teams);
  • To work closely with R&D teams (regional category teams and Regulatory Affairs).

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Complete Graduation in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Production Engineering;
  • Effective communication & presentation skills;
  • Ability to work with Digital Platforms; Social Media and other Digital tools;
  • Willing to be the technical spokesperson for our brands in internal and external events;
  • To have a Consumer centric view and to be able to land technical terms to broader audiences;
  • Technical mindset and flexibility to work in different workstreams, can-do attitude is essential;
  • Creativity & Flexibility to embrace new challenges;
  • Knowledge of BPC technologies, especially Hair Care is a differential;
  • English intermediate/advanced level
