TECHNOLOGY SPECIALIST (SYMRISE)

ROLES & RESPONSABILITIES

  • Act as project leader from assessment to implementation and development of new matrices of spray drier, emulsions and reactions flavors in laboratory and industrial scale.
  • Provide technical support to the commercial area and to the technical team.
  • Create and update guidelines for processes and technologies;
  • Giving training to the technical team and operation in matters related to technology.
  • Ensure the updated maintenance of Process instructions in Symcom;
  • Training technical staff in best practices of process (spray drier, emulsion and reaction).
  • Learning about new products and technologies related to flavor.
  • Serves as a technical advisor for the internal technical communities
  • Prepares special studies and technical reports.
  • Conduct experiments
  • Conduct internal sensory evaluations to determine quality of flavors/products, both new and existing
  • Coordinate with multiple departments to ensure product data integrity
  • Communicate with the regulatory department to make certain documentation needs are met
  • Update on the use of new molecules and products through contact with suppliers and also through our internal Global Technical Team.
  • Work together with Flavorists to evaluate new products to be used in flavor development and internal process improvement (guidelines).
  • Roll out of global technologies to Latin America.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRIMENTS

  • 5 years of experience;
  • Complete degree in Food Engineering, Chemistry or related areas;
  • Graduation in Food Engineering / Chemistry or related area;
  • Experience in product development and / or food ingredients;
  • Experience in activities related to industrial operation – knowledge / experience in food production processes;
  • Advanced English
