KEY ACTIVITIES

  • Manage product development R&D projects (innovation- renewal and productivity)- with focus on Taste Elevation platform (Condiments and Sauces)
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams- acting as a product development team lead to drive execution across multiple projects while maintaining and achieving timelines to ensure speed to market.
  • Work together with R&D team- exploring pilot plant and research capabilities
  • Keep connection with Int’l R&D to capture the needs for the Latam regional projects and leverage technologies and applications .
  • Interface with the Mkt area- Commercial and Purchasing
  • Ensure the correct application and use of project management tools
  • Responsible for lead and execute regional projects- improvements in performance and value Engineering- according to needs and in accordance with Latam legislation and company guidelines- seeking deliveries the financial targets
  • Lead multiple projects through a complex scope and varying priorities concurrently.
  • Leadership with multifunctional and technical teams.
  • Effective connection with Global teams to align and seek opportunity in Innovation projects.
  • Knowledge of the main regulatory standards
  • Participate in the main technical forums of the regional projects

SKILLS (KNOWLEDGE/CAPABILITIES)

  • Knowledge of food standards – Food Safety – Product Development – ISO- HACCP and Project Management
  • Understanding of the workflow in the area of packaging- sensory- physical and chemical and / or consumer- are desirable and necessary
  • Technical background in production of mayonnaise- sauces- ketchup and/or condiments
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and driving clarity in times of ambiguity and extreme complexity.
  • Goal oriented individual with executional excellence and inter-personal leadership
  • Highly motivated problem solver with a clear track record of results to deliver objectives in a complex environment
  • Ability to navigate through the company and find unique ways to drive results
  • Willing to travel

REQUIRIMENTS

  • Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Food Science- Chemical Engineering- or related fields
  • Fluency in English and intermediate Spanish
  • Background in food and related industries- while performing on sauces process and product development is an interesting plus.
