DAIRY APPLICATION SPECIALIST (DUPONT)

“We are looking for a creative Application Specialist to join Dairy Application group in Cotia and assist in servicing our external and internal customers. You will be part of the Neutral group – with an excellent industry team and global knowledge sharing allowing us to challenge what’s possible and what will be the preferred nutritional beverage in the future..’’

If you join our team, key activities may include

  • Servicing mainly our south American based customers within the dairy industry with focus on neutral pH category (UHT chocolate milk, UHT Dairy beverages, UHT Dairy Cream, etc.);
  • Execution of customer related tasks in close collaboration with colleagues in the group and across the organization;
  • Evaluating new ingredients supporting product launches;
  • Designing, executing and following up on projects;
  • Seeking and developing new application solutions/beverage concepts for the industry in line with the strategic objectives;
  • Training customers and colleagues in application and related processes;
  • Building a strong network with our key internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

Qualifications expected for this role

  • Bachelor’s degree in Food/Chemical Engineering or related areas;
  • Relevant educational background with working experience in food industry, especially in UHT Dairy products (preferably B2B);
  • A thorough understanding of hydrocolloids/protein chemistry and UHT process experience will be a strong advantage;
  • Technical insights coupled with a good commercial sense;
  • A positive attitude combined with curious and creative mindset;
  • Self-driven, takes responsibility, acts proactively and is good in organizing own work tasks and with a strong personal drive to push tasks forward;
  • Structured working style – and acceptance of the trial results has not ended until the documentation is completed and knowledge learnt has been shared;
  • Working well with many different types of people and shows flexibility when required;
  • English and Spanish is highly desired ;
  • Good IT skills required.
  • This position will be based in the city of Cotia/SP.
