What will you work on:
- Seasoning Innovation agenda: Responsible to deliver seasonings development for AOP and Pipeline for all savory platforms (TC, PC, Extruded, Corn, Pellet, N&S)
- Collaborate with Category leaders, manage projects, prioritize initiatives anticipate obstacles
- Lead Portfolio Transformation Program: to comply wit PepsiCo Global guidelines. Main accountabilities are lead, make decision, provide information, assess risk, execute actions
- Lead Seasonings productivity: increase seasonings efficiency through validation and execution, ensure correct ranges in specifications
- Ensure all seasoning development fulfill internal processes, PQP, TSG
- Global networking for lift and adapt initiatives
- Leverage internal expertise with Flavor houses technologies to develop unique, highly differentiated and difficult to duplicate seasonings for all salty categories
- Responsible for operational governance; establish and maintain relations with flavor houses; collaborate with them in the development of new technologies and their usage in our initiatives
- People guidance and growth: impulse team growth and develop people performance skills. Main accountabilities are making decisions, provie indomration & feedback, execute actions
- Servicing more that one BU Cost negotiations, Seasoning deconstruction, knowledge of the Seasonings suppliers locally and globally
- Seasoning development from bench to product scale up. Knowledge on ingredients and seasoning specicifications, process control (Statistics) and regulatory to ensure seasoning safety along with PQP team.
- Technical coaching to other team members, R&D, manufacturing and quality team
- Scale up in manufacturing plants
Qualifications/Requirements
Who are we looking for?
- Background education related to Food Industry (Food Chemistry, Food Technology, Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering)
- Minimum 5 years in the flavor industry with proven knowledge related to flavors (compounding, spray drying, extracts) operations
- Functional knowledge on technologies and raw materials (seasonings, flavors)
- Manufacruging processes knowledge
- Seasonings development knowledge
- Advance English and Spainsh skills, both oral and written
- Basic knowledge of statistics
- Unit operations such as frying, drying and packaging
- Results driven
- Work under pressure
- Leadership and negotiation skills
- Fast learner
- Decision maker
