ABOUT

To support the Regulatory cluster manager providing expert regulatory support upon innovation, brand stewardship, productivity and import projects partnering with product developer, packaging, nutrition, sensory, PGCS, regional and global regulatory affairs, as well as our bottlers in the different franchises this countries have, to ensure the compliance at the target country of sale, along the technical stage gate process.

Also partner in achieving PEP’s commercial and reputational success by providing strategic direction, advice, and risk assessment in the field of this country’s regulations, by driving a positive regulatory environment influence externally

• Accountable for regulatory compliance of all Foods and Beverages ingredients, LIDS, packaging labels and communications for Brazil
• Regulatory Affairs support for all innovation/renovation/productivity initiatives
• Support on the regulatory Horizon scanning, escalation of issues and effective mechanism for regulatory change management
• Provide advice on the evaluation of the safety of food ingredients and contaminants.
• Manage and supervise consultants to provide support for regulatory and/or innovation led projects when external assistance is required.
• Support and follow up the execution of sanitary registration paperwork for all innovation as well as the renewal of existing products and raw material (concentrates), by collaborating with operations and bottlers upon the compilation and development of the technical information and ensure an adequate record keeping is in place
• Support the artwork approval process by delivering the regulatory labeling specification for each product label or complementary sticker and approve corresponding compliant artwork design.
• Support the import/export initiatives reviewing compliance and executing the proper sanitary registration process

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemical, Pharmacy or related areas
• Expertise in local regulations (for Foods and Beverages)
• Effective communicate and influencing skills with both internal and external stakeholders (Pepsico leadership, marketing, government and trade associations).
• Build technical and scientific credibility that transcends
• Ability to successfully handle multiple priorities
• Ability to function well in a multi-cultural team environment via remote communication
• Resilience towards high pressure environment
• Continuous process improvement to simplify and automate deliverables
• Proven track record of delivering results, including innovating processes
• Ability to develop senior level communications
• English advanced skills; Spanish is desired.
