ABOUT THE ROLE

Key responsibilities

• Provide expertise in Nutrition Science and connect to the business by implementing and activating Nutrition and Sustainability strategy throughout the region.
• Bring to life Nutrition & Wellness portfolio by educating internally and externally on nutrition and working together with EUM teams to deliver sustainable nutrition solutions to our customers.
• Drive and develop local strategies with nutrition support that help position Kerry as a Sustainable Nutrition leader and meet N&W technology targets.

Qualifications / Experience

Qualifications and skills

• Degree in Nutrition Science, with other degrees as Food Science, Physiology, Biology or other related fields
• 3-5 + years of work experience
• Scientific totality of evidence review and translation to business opportunities, messaging and positioning
• Nutrition Science research experience – protocol development, study design, recruitment, monitoring, laboratory analysis, project management, etc. or F&B Company experience with marketing interaction
• Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist, clinical practice experience (optional)

• Work well with cross-functional teams
• Communicate effectively, team player, report results in a conscience manner, stay abreast of current literature
• Business acumen, knowledge of Nutrition Strategy and positon of the competitors in the industry
• Problem solver, solution seeker, complete given objectives, independently identify experimental work necessary to achieve project objectives, contribute workable creative ideas
• Interact with other groups within Kerry when necessary (applications groups/marketing/production)
• Language/Fluency: English, Spanish (required); Portuguese (desirable)
