About The Graduate Program
Our 2 year international graduate program offers a global perspective to bright, young talents like yourself and is an exciting opportunity to deepen your expertise in an area that you are passionate about. The program starts every September and is launched in Barry Callebaut’s most strategic locations around the globe, where our Graduates expertise is valued and entrepreneurship fostered.
About The Opportunity
We are offering you the opportunity to further develop your career within our Research & Development department . Over the 2 year term you will have the opportunity to gain experience across areas including Production, Innovation & R&D. You will gain significant international experience with the opportunity to undertake at least one rotation abroad.
Over the 3 rotations you will gain experience and actively contribute by:

    • Key Cocoa & Chocolate technology aspects of recipes, raw material and processing.
    • Manage Complex product development project(s) leading project team, dealing with internal and external customers, using BC NPI process, promoting regional, global collaboration;
    • Monitoring Market opportunities, gaps for FM and Gourmet and match those with company technologies, capabilities and services;
    • Helping to build Innovation Pipeline.

 
About You

    • Masters in Food Science or Chemical
    • Fluent English and Spanish;
    • Demonstrated communication skills, abilities at multiple levels of the organization
    • Demonstrate organizational skills and track record of successfully manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
    • Defending thesis or participate of studies on Chocolate or Cocoa knowledge field
    • As plus previous Experience in confectionery industry is preferred
    • Strong analytical capability and statistics skills.
    • Excellent communication and Interpersonal skills.
    • Utilize database and Excel skills to collect, organize, and analyze data to support forecasting efforts.

 
NB: To qualify for our graduate program applicants must bring a minimum of a total of 18 months work experience and must hold a Bachelors Degree preferably complimented with a Masters Degree.
